I have been trying to get this guy on the podcast for quite a while now! The time has finally arrived, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Eli Grambling and getting to know him and his music taste. Join me and learn his story on episode 8 of The Knuckleheads Podcast. He was kind enough to give a teaser of his unreleased song that he recorded recently, "Into The World" and it is absolutely beautiful! Hope you all enjoy!

What a past year it has been! Covid really eliminated my favorite part of podcasting and that was the connection with a person. I am finally back recording episodes and getting my studio settled into my new place here in Forsyth. For episode 7, I had the privilege of bringing on a new buddy of mine and taking a deeper dive into his background as well as current battles that he faces. I hope you enjoy getting know Caleb Walston as much as I did!

The Soundcheck - Dream Lineup? - Part 2
Tuesday Jun 23, 2020
Tuesday Jun 23, 2020
On this episode of The Soundcheck, Gabe and I decided to bring back on our buddy, Joe Warren, from the last episode because we enjoyed it so much. We turned this episode into a 2 part due to the length of it. This episode's topic is all concert talk. Part 2 we discuss what our dream line up would be from country to hardcore to hip-hop. We all have such different styles in music so there is something for everyone in here. We are continuing to add to our Quarantined Listens playlist on Spotify for those of you who would like to join in on our listening habits. With the COVID-19 situation, we are continuing to distance ourselves and doing this via Facetime. So we would like to apologize for the not so perfect audio still. Hopefully things can get back to normal before too long. We hope you enjoy today's episode of The Soundcheck!

Tuesday May 26, 2020
On episode 4 of The Soundcheck, Gabe and I decided to switch it up a little bit and bring on our buddy, Joe Warren, from episode 4 where I interview him about his position at the Masquerade. We turned this episode into a 2 part due to the length of it. In part 2 of our conversation we discuss the topic of conversation, "Is there a band or artist that their first album is considered their best album that they have produced and with that does that make them a great and thriving artist?" We dive deeper into our opinions and try to give multiple scenarios to Gabe to see if we can get to a solid conclusion. With the COVID-19 situation, we are continuing to distance ourselves and doing this via Facetime. So we would like to apologize for the not so perfect audio still. Hopefully things can get back to normal before too long. We hope you enjoy episode 4 of The Soundcheck!

On episode 3 of The Soundcheck, we catch up on what has been going on since the shelter in place went into effect. We discuss our thoughts on how the pandemic will affect the music industry as a whole and how it is making us go stir crazy because we are both obsessed with live events. With this we decided to start an idea we had of creating playlist of songs we are listening to currently during this time. Due to keeping social distancing we are continuing to record via Facetime. So we would like to apologize for the not so perfect audio. We hope you enjoy episode 3 of The Soundcheck!

Thursday Apr 09, 2020
What a great but unusual episode. For episode 6,We had to record via Instagram live due to social distancing and self quarantining from the COVID-19. Such an awesome conversation where we got a chance to catch up and discuss old times. Along with further diving into working with some bigger names such as Lil Boosie and Jacqueez. E-Sharpe has made a name for himself thus far and continuing to grow everyday in the industry. I wish him the best and look forward to working on projects with him one day...again!
I hope you all enjoy episode 6 of The Knuckleheads Podcast!

The Soundcheck - Covers That Are Better Than The Originals?
Thursday Mar 05, 2020
Thursday Mar 05, 2020
Gabe Worley and I are back with another episode of The Soundcheck! On today's episode we get to discuss a thought that came into my mind while I was at a concert recently. The artist was doing his iconic cover songs and it made me thinks of the question, what are some covers better than the original? Now this may be opinionated in multiple aspects but I hope it can let you see into our preferences of music and songs that we feel deserve great recognition for what they done with someone else's song. From Chris Stapleton to Anberlin to Slim Thug, take a listen to our take on covers that are better than the originals.
We decided to create a Spotify playlist with the songs we discussed through and attached the link here:

The Soundcheck - "Are The Times Of Streaming Killing Music?"
Tuesday Feb 25, 2020
Tuesday Feb 25, 2020
You ever have a conversation with someone and really enjoy it? Especially when it is something you are both passionate about! Well I decided to have a recurring segment on The Knuckleheads with a very good buddy of mine, Gabe Worley. We have always had very in depth conversations around music and I knew I had to have him on an episode. So after further discussion we gave it a trail run and decided to continue it. We didn't give it an official title until after we recorded episode 1 but props to Gabe for creating the name. "The Soundcheck" is nothing more than us taking a further dive into music beyond interviewing artist. On this very first episode we take a deeper dive in to the streaming industry and our thoughts on how it has affected the music industry.
We would love to hear your thoughts and if you have any ideas for us to discuss/debate. Hope you enjoy episode 1 of The Soundcheck with Gabe Worley!
